I am a Stage Designer for Cape Town Opera. My work has been showcased at Artscape, Pretoria State Theatre, Baxter Theatre, Oude Libertas and Spier amphitheatres, Maynardville Open Air Theatre, and Monument Theatre Grahamstown. And Internationally, the Wales Millenium Centre, Royal Festival Hall London and Edinburgh Festival Theatre in 2009. Represented South Africa at the 1999 Prague Quadrenial for Stage and Theatre Design. Most Recent Opera Designs: Rigoletto, Manon, La Rodine, Le Nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte, La Boheme, Gianni Schicchi, Carmen, Nabucco, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Pearl Fishers, Fidelio on Robben Island, The Magic Flute and Aqua Opera, Porgy and Bess, Madama Butterfly, African Songbook, L'elisir d'amore. Awards include: Fleur du Cap Award for the Set Design of Beethoven, In Raptus. 2008 Best Costume Design, Into The Woods. Best Set and Costume Design, Honk. Best Costume Mask Design, Bacchae. Best Costume Design, Elizabeth the First.
